We're Heading to Gainesville — and We'd Love to See You There

At ActualSignal, we believe that living well with Parkinson's starts with knowledge, community, and connection. That's why we're excited to share that we'll be participating in the 24th Annual Parkinson Educational Symposium, hosted by the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases — one of the nation's leading Parkinson's Centers of Excellence.

This free, public event is a wonderful opportunity for patients, caregivers, and anyone touched by Parkinson's to learn about the latest treatments and research, hear from world-class experts, and connect with others who understand the journey.

What to Expect

This year's symposium features Dr. Indu Subramanian, Clinical Professor of Neurology and Chair of the Movement Disorders Society, as the Robert B. Stockdale Guest Speaker. The day's sessions will cover topics close to our hearts — and to yours:

Wellness in Parkinson's — caring for body and mind
Pills and Pumps — understanding medication options
Hot Topics in OT — the role of occupational therapy
Sleep in PD — tackling one of the most common non-motor challenges
Novel Treatments — what's on the horizon

Why This Matters to Us

Events like these reflect exactly what we stand for at ActualSignal. Our mission has always been to ensure that no patient living with Parkinson's ever feels unseen or unmonitored between clinic visits. But technology is only part of the equation. Education, community, and human connection are just as vital.

We're honored to be part of a day that brings the Parkinson's community together — patients, caregivers, clinicians, and innovators — all united by the belief that better understanding leads to better care.

How to Register

The symposium is free and open to the public, with both in-person and online attendance options. To register or learn more, contact Heather Simpson Martin at heather.martin@ufhealth.org or call 352.733.2130.

We hope to see you there. Because every conversation, every connection, and every moment of learning brings us one step closer to the care our community deserves.

See you in Gainesville.
